Though the proceedings before family court are summary proceedings no seperate procedure has been provided by the statute and Hence Civil Procedure Code will apply to the proceedings. According to Section 10 of Family Courts Act 1984 provisions of C.P.C are applicable.

An Application with interrogatory and Questions can be filed before the Courtasking the opponent to reply.
