i am married to a christian guy on
6th june07 and now we are
seperated from apr08.now am in
relationship with a jain guy who is
divorced.but my husband doesn't
know abt this and he is not ready
to divorce i can't stay with him bcoz
our understanding level for
eachother is very low we married in
register office not in the church i
dont know what to do.now am
staying with jain guy from feb09.can
i marry this guy without divorce?or
suggest something. i dont have
passport no id proof how i live my
life.i want to marry this guy.and for
passport there is no my name in his
rationcard.am from karnataka at
present living in mumbai.please
help.i think without divorce i cant do
anything pls suggest something
that i get divorce quickly.what if i
get baby from jain guy?can i get
divorce quickly?we want to adopt a
girl baby can we do that without
divorce?i am stucked i feel so
helpless.my father's surname is Vaz
and my husbands D'souza.

No. You cannot marry again without divorce. You may obtain your passport on the basis of school certificate (for date of birth) and rent agreement (for proof of residence).
the baby from Jain boy, without legal marriage, will be illegitimate.
You should immediately file a divorce petition for annulment of your first marriage after consulting a local advocate.

neither should you bear a child or adopt a child. first file a petition for divorce, get the divorce and then go for second marriage with Jain guy. in case you bear his child, you may be charged with adultry and bigamy by your husband. better clear up the mess before getting into a healthy relationship.

You are seeking advise in a situation,if properly handled by your husband may lead you into the cases like adultery for having illicit relationship and your husband can also land the Jian guy in jail.You may file divorce petition and wherever you married either in registered office or church does not matter because both are legal.
