divorce of a muslim women

im a muslim girl of age 25 years

from patna india. i got married 3

years earlier with a person who

was in dubai from last two years.

then he came back to india for 2

months and now again he went to

dubai. we have no physical relation

since last 2 months, means its 2

year two month since last physical

relation. its because i refuse to

make the same. i have a baby girl

of 1.5 year. i want to get divorce

from my husband but he refuses

regularly and saying that he will not

give me divorce, neither i have any

option. my parents are against me

and keeping me at home by force

so that i cant file a divorce case. i

dont want any compansation and i

dont have problem to give the

custody of my daughter to my

husband. i just want divorce as

soon as possible. is there any way

?

Your statement is incomplete and an appropriate opinion may not be possible in the absence of sufficient facts.

However, you may be entitled to seek divorce in accordance with law. The ground available to a Muslim woman seeking divorce from her husband are given in Section 2 of the DISSOLUTION OF MUSLIM MARRIAGES ACT, 1939.
