if divorce has taken place,can husband claim property on wife name. couple were married under hindu marriage act.
does India accept Canadian court judge in property related disputes.

Based on your facts and circumstances, you will have to check if you fit into the Proviso to section 4 of the Benami Transaction (Prohibition) Act 1985. If yes, you may file a suit for declaration that you be declared the owner of property (currently in the name of wife).

canadian law in respect of distribution of properties on divorce does not apply in India. there the distribution takes place according to law in Canada and In india there is no such law.
