my wife and me are married for 12 years and have 2 kids, she has filed a divorce case accusing me of cruelty whch is totally fabricated. at the moment she has custody of bth the kids and is getting monthly maintenance for the kids. My life has been complettely shattered and at present i am staying with mt parents place which is a rented place. my wife has 2 flats in her name in bombay, one of which was purchased after marriage but its onn her name. my question is that can i plead to the family court to let me stay in the house as i am opposing the divorce and at present it is next to impossible to buy a house in bombay.

the only advice in your situation is : try hard for an amicable settlement; avoid court proceedings and buy peace at any cost; resoolve the entire dispute - (a) divorce; (b) children custody; and (c) maintenance by mutal settlement;
