Legal Question in Family Law in India

Divorce query

I have filed for divorce on the grounds of adultery.I think i have got sufficient proof to prove my husbands adultery. I just wanted to know that if my husband agrees to give a written apology for his immoral conduct and gives some financial security in a form of an undertaking/contract, is such contract or undertaking valid between a husband and wife?. Will he be able to claim that amount in the future once i withdraw the petition. I want the amount as a security for my child's future. I am afraid that my husband will run away with his mistress with all the money leaving me and my child in a lurch. I am currently not working, while my husband is quite well off financially . Another thing i wud like to know after withdrawing the present petition, if i again file fr divorce later if i am convinced that my husband is still not being faithful to me, will the written aplogy given by him be of any significance or useful the next time i file for divorce? I am not at all interested in re marriage, i am only worried about my childs welfare as the child is too small. Kindly advise

Re: Divorce query

take that money as fixed deposit and if you want that money in liquidated form then deposit it in ur account. he will not be able to take it forcibly from you. take statement in this regard in court.
