Legal Question in Family Law in India

Regarding Divorce.
Sir

My friend is a muslim and married under muslim marriage act (Nikah). His wife is greedy for comforts and
money. Now she is blackmailing him that she will lodge a 498a complaint against me if he dont accept even small things of her.
She is making his life miserable. What is the way to get divorce from her. Because i heard that tripple talak is not valid anymore. She is not willing to give divorce, how to face this issue.
