can tape recorded conversation be used as an effective evidence in divorce case?

Tape recorder evidence if corroborated with any other evidence can be accepted by the court.it has to be genuine.independently it is not of much value.

yes, the evidence act has been amended to include electronic forms of evidences.

It matters on the degree of the divorce case and it takes preety long time to check the genuinty of the recording.

Yes,but you shall be required to remove all the ambiguities and have to prove that the tape conversations and tape are genuine one.
