Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am looking for divorce. I have 12 year old mentally challenged boy. What are the legal rights of my son, If the divorce case will go in my favor? I want complete future security for my child.

your son can claim his share in the ancestral or joint property but in case the property is earned by your husband himself, then the claim may not sustain. you can definitely ask for the maintenance for yourself and your son. if you looking for divorce, either you should file it on fault grounds available to you or go for divorce by mutual consent after he agrees to maintenance/alimony.
