As regard the filing of FIR u/s 498 the jurisdiction will lie to the said court where cause of arose i.e. where your husband tortured you and caused domestic violence

As regard making complaint by you to the husband's office there is no bar. For further query contect me.

Re: Dowry & Domestic violence

498A relates to torture by husband and/or family. As such, it has to be filed at a place where such torture was allegedly committed.

Nothing stops you from filig a comlaint with the higher authorities of your husband' office and/or the district magistrate etc.

Re: Dowry & Domestic violence

Please confine yourself to any of the places you choose for the entire litigation. you should file a criminal case and the case under domestic violence act at one place. FIRs at multiple places may weaken your case; it will appear as if your complaint is not genuine and that you just want to harass your husband for some other reason. please restrict yourself to one place.
