dowry

i was married in may 2002, after marriage i was staying with my wife in her own house, ie with in laws. after 1 year i got Tuber culosis, after the disease i went to my father house in karnataka for treatment as my in laws told me that they can not take care. so i went to my own house. while taking the treatment my wife lodge a false dowry case against me and my family. after marriage she has stayed with my parents and she has included everyone in my family. all my official person, her neighbours know that i was staying with her in her own house . didnt demand any thing , then how can she lodge a complaint against me. anyway , now i had got bail . i want help that what step should i take. i m in great problem. do suggest me

Contact a lawyer and explain all the details with evidence. In india it is most unfortunate that dowry cases are foisted on the husbands and the act is also in favour of the females.
