Legal Question in Family Law in India

In my DV case as an interim order, i was asked to pay Rs.8000/ p.m for wife's residential expenses by the sessions court. As per the advice of my counsel i didnot go for a appeal since he promised that he can finish the main case within 6 months and prove that i am not guilty. But it is now 24 months passed and the case is still dragging with me paying 8k month on month without default. I recon they will drag the case further more. Do i have the possibility to appeal against the interim order now? Kindly advice

No you can not file now. You needed to have filed the Revision Petition after one month of judgement on interim application. Did you file an application u/s 125(4) in the trial court?Give more detail so that I could help you.

No the limit for filing appeal / revision against interim order is 30 days from that order.

you should have gone for appeal against the order. now the appeal cannot be filed as the order has been made absolute.
