Legal Question in Family Law in India
I have got ex-parte divorce from family court. I want to know the period of appeal by the respondant, details as under :
Date of Operative Order - 9th Sept 2011
I applied for certified copies of Judgement & Decree - 20th Sept 2011
I recieved certified copies on 3rd Dec 2011
Please tell me when the 90 day appeal period will end. When can i re-marry.

you applied for the certified copy 11 days late and you also have to mention whether it is the copying agency who delayed it or you forgot to collect it. in case it is the fault of agency to supply it late, then the period of 79 days would begin from 3rd Dec 2011.
i agree with Adv Gupta adding thereto that as it is a Ex -parte decree it can also be applied for setting aside by opposite party if they have sufficient cause for not appearing.
