After an ex-parte divorce judgement, which document is important ?

The order OR the decree ? which out of these two is to be considered valid ?

This is a specific question because I have an order dated 9th Sept 2011 & a decree dated 3rd Dec 2011.

which date should i consider since there is a gap of almost 3 months between both documents.

Out of the two, decree is more important.
