Legal Question in Family Law in India

if a family ( i.e. parents and their MARRIED sons) live together, without having inheriting properties, can we call it as Joint family? and how the property could be distributed whether by Partition deed or by the will of family head? and siblings would be coparceneries or not

If the property is ancestral you can go for partition. But if it is self acquired property of one of your family member than the owner has a right to dispose the property in any manner he likes eg by making a Will etc.
