Legal Question in Family Law in India

i am father of 2 babies, i dont have surname (my father's name is my surname in my passport). My wife has surname. We want to give a new surname to my babies without changing ours. How to go about.

you can change the surname of your kids as they would be known as your children so there is no other legal formality that needs to be done unless the surname pertains to some other religion.
