Legal Question in Family Law in India
My father died without leaving a will. He was the sole owner of a huge property bought out of his own earnings. After his death, the property was transferred to my mother with the childrens consent. My mother wishes to sell the property now and divided equally between her and her five children. However, if one of us refuses to sign on the document of sale, what is the legal option for my mother. She is 75 years old now and needs the money now and cannot wait any longer.

As the property was transferred to your mother with consent of all siblings, it has become her sole property. She can sell the same; without consent of any body.
Your mother has become the absolute owner of the property so she does not require any signature from any of her children or child. She can dispose of the property without any legal wrangles........Please check Sanjay Kalra and Associates on the internet to know more about our law firm and the legal services we are rendering for our clients from all over the World.
dear client...
