My father is a dimensia patient. at present he is managing his accounts. but during the period, we think that he is not able to manage it. Can I (Elder Daughter with acceptance of my other two sisters) get power of attorney for his accounts, property and goods. My only brother is not taking care of my father. My father is living in an old age home. Please answer my question asap.

as your father is a dementia patient, he is not in a fit state of mind to execute any document without obtaining a fitness certificate from the doctor. it is advisable to sort this matter amicable by taking your brother into confidence otherwise your conduct may result in unnecessary litigation at a later stage.
