I am the father of a four and half year old girl. My wife has been talking divorce for the last two months on the ground of mental torture. She is well placed in her career and I have come to know that she has got involved with someone else.
Can I get a restraining order againt her so that she can't move out of the city with my daughter which she plans to do and move to the city of her lover.
What are the chances of restraining order coming through ?
I am ok for mutual divorce only if I get custody of my daughter. Else I am ready to go contested ? What are my chances of getting custody of my daughter in a contested divorce ? I am otherwise ok in terms of financial and social position.

you cannot restrain your wife from moving from one city to the other but u can restrain your wife from taking your daughter out of country.
