Legal Question in Family Law in India

If the father is a MAJOR Heart Patient and cannot travel, can he file GWAP for Child Custody in Chennai, Tamilnadu, when the child is presently in Pondichery which is a different state. Please inform if any such case has been filed in India and what other sections have to be included along with the GWAP sections.

sir, you should prefer the application where the mother of the child and child are presently residing. Even if you make out the jurisdiction at Chennai, the wife may go for transfer of the case.
