is it possible that the father of a 2 year old child can take the possesion of her without the consent of the childs mother n he wants a divorce?

no not possible the court will not allow custody to father of 2yr old child.

law gives custody of child up to five (5) years of age to child's mother. After five years of age, one has to apply and substantiate the welfare of child to get its custody. Or else, forcefully or without consent would be illegal.
