I am yet to file the case. I am staying alone and my fear is he will come and beat me, and take my baby with him, how do I go about? If I go and complaint to the police, will the police help me to get the baby on that day itself?

in case you fear, you may file a complaint under DV Act and seek restraint orders against your husband. the court may also direct the local police for taking appropriate action for your and your baby's security.
