Legal Question in Family Law in India

If we dont want to file mutual consent divorce due to time taken by it can notary stating we are seperating due to our differences is enough? We are not staying together for more than year.

No.Unless you get a decree of divorce from the competent court of law, your marriage shall remain valid in eyes of law despite you are living separately. Notary is not the competent authority to issue a decree of divorce. If both the partners are ready for divorce the divorce process will not take more than six months in any case.
