Can you file for transfer of case in the highcourt when exparte order has already been passed in divorce/custody/maintainence case. if the answer is not possible is there any citations on this.

first the ex parte order needs to be set aside, only then the TP can be filed.

You may first file an application for setting aside of ex parte order; and thereafter seek transfer even before your application is decided.
