Legal Question in Family Law in India

I have filed an application for divorce against my husband now might under pressure he would be able to sign that application in the police station that he wants a divorce from me and we would file a petition against him in the court, now on 1st hearing say for example he would say that he dont want to give her divorce but under pressure he has signed the application and judge would definitely listen to him, then what action can be taken at that time ?would then again be there a mutual consent filed or what action would be taken against him?

your facts are confusing. What application for divorce are you talking? A joint petition is required to be file by both for mutual consent divorce. The name itself indicates that the voluntary and mutual consent of both the parties is required for divorce. Pl engage a good lawyer.

in case he states in the court that his consent is not free, in that situation, the petition for divorce by mutual consent would be dismissed.
