I have filed a case against my in-laws in Domestic Violence but my husband is staying in Qatar & he didnot received a summons & we dont know his address also becoz my in-laws are not allowing me to talk to him & not even giving his address so what is the procedure to send him summons and also my lawyer is not serious about my case she has taken money from my in-laws to loss the case and always giving negative answers for my query. I want to change her. And also i wanted to know that can i transfer my case from borivali court to family court in bandra please suggest me

u can serve ur husband through embassy in qatar. if u have the passport number of ur husband that will help you in traceing ur husband in qatar.If u dont trust ur counsel then better u change that. u can file application for transfer of ur case from borivali court to bandra court. its decision ofcourse depends upon the grounds u have taken in the application.
domestic violence being a criminal case you will have to fight the same at Metroplitan Magistrate's court so in my opinion you can ask for transfering the case to bandra mm's court and not at family court bandra.you are welcome for consulting at my office
Since you intend changing your counsel, first decide the lawyer whom you want to engage; the new lawyer should be able to pursue your legal remedies to your satisfaction.
