Legal Question in Family Law in India

I have filed a case for my in-laws in domestic violence and now these people want a divorce from me but they want it from settlement and not through court. Which will be the good way to give divorce. Will i get the alimony amount & my Stridhan back in this case or should i fight it through court itself. My husband is in Qatar but wher i dont know but his lawyer & his parents are telling that he wont come to sign over here but these people will send a divorce copy to qatar and get it sign from there only. Is it the right way to take divorce. Actually i dont want to give divorce so what is the step that i can take towards this and i want to stay at my in-laws place so i also want to know the step to be taken now i m staying with my parents.

depending upon other facts you can go for mutual consent divorce from the court which is faster and not expensive.

If he is unable to come for Mutual Consent Divorce, you may file a contested divorce petition and send him summons. He may send his reply from Qatar and the divorce may be granted without his appearance.
