Legal Question in Family Law in India
In U.P. I have filed one case U/s 494,498(a),506 I.P.C. against my husband and now my husband is 60 plus and he has submitted his petition to the mediation centre in Allahabad High Cout and till date he has not been arrested by the police and he has deposited Rs. 10,000/- in the meditation centre and taken the date of mediation in the coming month. I just wanted to know if the mediation becomes unsuccessful, what will be the consequences. How to go about it. I am his legally married wife but he is denying his relationship towards me But I have all the evidences like Id, addressproof as well as court orders, stating that I am his legally married wife. I am also getting maintenace of Rs. 500/- per month by a lower Court Order . Please suggest me what should I do as I am 100% sure that this mediation is not going to be successful as he is totally in control of his mistress. Please guide me how to go about it.

If mediation is unsuccessful, the case will go to regular court and should be dealt with in normal course. You may continue his criminal prosecution as if no mediation ever took place. You need to be firm on your stand.
