I have filed two cases against my husband one for dowry and the other one for maintenance as we have been living separate for two years and i have no source of income The cases have been going on for past two years and no result seems to come out I have been fed up and decided to take the divorce and take back all the cases Will this decision be a witty one or I may further suffer from other accuses or counter cases after withdrawing the cases I am in a dilemma now please guide me what should be my next step as my lawyer is not guiding me well through all these.....

in case you filing divorce by mutual consent and before that an agreement settling all claims is drafted and filed in the court along with the petition for divorce by mutual consent, there are no chances of allegations or counter allegations unless consent is withdrawn.
A proper advice is possible only after examining the case records. however, the cases filed two years before should be now nearing an advanced stage and a logical conclusion is possible in near future. You should not act in a hurry and rather try to seek your lawyer's cooperation for guiding you properly.
