Legal Question in Family Law in India
I have filed the counter to Interim maintenace petition filed by my wife. This counter is notarized. Problem is that my advocate cheated me by writing an omnivorous statement in the counter where a block of facts are admitted in a single statement. In this block of facts, my wife claimed a false fact in her Interim Maintenance petition which is admitted by me and is totally against me. That is I have admitted (not written) a false fact claimed by my wife which is notarized and I am only the aggrived person (not my wife) if that fact is admitted. For this false fact admitted, my main divorce petition may be rejected or I will be sent to jail custody.
Could you please suggest what to do, if my advocate is supporting my wife by writting (cheating me) such type of statement and

you may change your advocate
a) You may engage another Advocate; and file a complaint with Bar Council against your present Advocate;
b) You may apply to the court for amendment of your written statement through your new Advocate and withdraw the admission made wrongly by your earlier Advocate.
c) You may also file a complaint against your lawyer in Consumer Court.
