Legal Question in Family Law in India

we have filed for the divorce by mutual cosent.the domestic violence case filed by my wife is pending in the JMFC and maintenance suit is also pending.i had filed the case for custody which is also pending.I would like to know can this domestic violence case still go on after divorce decree and any references regarding that.wht are the repurcussions.thanks

yes, the DV case may go on even after divorce if it is not mentioned in the compromise that the same would withdrawn by the wife.

mutual divorce is only possible when all the issues are settled and cases are withdrawn.
