Legal Question in Family Law in India

I had filed a divorce suit on the grounds of cruelty and desertion against my wife which is pending before the courts. While arguing the maintenance petition, my wife alleged out of context that Iam a patient of siziphernia which is defamotory. As it is a ground for divorce should I take it as her charge and insit divorce should be allowed to me and she has no reasons to contest my divorce petition. Kindly advise.

you may add this averment as an additional ground to have caused cruelty. The court cannot strike off the defence of your wife for this reason and grant you divorce straight
