hi , i have filed a DV case against my husband who is a NRI in united states. he is not a green card holder . Just a visa holder . Can i seek a residential order or shared house hold in USA under the DV case as my husband abandoned me

if your husband is living in US, you cannot seek residential orders here in Indian courts as the courts in India have no jurisdiction over the property situate in US. you may have to seek residence orders or equal share in the property as per US Laws.

If he is not a green card holder, you may approach the US authorities for his repatriation to India for facing legal proceedings under DV Act.
