Legal Question in Family Law in India

I have filed a maintenance case for two children son 13yrs and daughter 8 yrs in june 2010 in Magistrate court in Bangalore and the case is still on. I am in Bangalore for last 3 yrs separated from my husband in Goa. I have no support form my husband. He is GM HR in a well known company and he is adrwing a salary of above 2.5 lacs per month.I am working for Airlines company and I am drawing 30000 PM and I have declared the same in court as well. Magistrate court has passed and interim relief order on june 2011 for an amount of 10000 and later revised in September for Rs. 15000 which is not paid to me till date. Now my husband has gone ahead and challenged the court order for interim releif in Sessions court and I am going for hearing to FTC court and yesterday in argument my husbands lawyers were bargaining and asking the judge to reduce the interim to 10000. My advocate has asked for atleast 13000. judge has advised to take settle may be even for less now and then may be claim for more later in the final order. Now the next hearing date is on 19th NOV at FTC court and a decision will be taken. On the same date I have a hearing in MAgistrate court as well and i have to give evidence. Please advise if I can agree to what they are offering
