Legal Question in Family Law in India

one of my friend is married on 24/7/2004. there are no evidence in that marriage like photos, wedding card, and any recepit of marriage certificate. my friend want's diverse with his wife but the lawer said once we put the case we need evicdence of that marriage like photos, etc. is it or not. what will we do now? any possiblity are there plz suggest me to take diverse? he want's to marriage another one plz give suggestion to me.

Where did he get married ? Why he has no proof of marriage ? maybe he is not even married .Please clarify .
