Legal Question in Family Law in India
my friend got married in 2010,,
her father in gave her rs 2 lakh for buying stuff at her new place,where she ll stay with her husband.as it happens in every indian family..it was not a part of dowry.in fact there were no demand of dowry from her in laws.they seemed very nice people.
her father transferd to whole money to her father in law's accnt,from which her father in law said that he ll give my friend the money when they ll shift to the working city.
but its been 1 yr and 6 months he is not giving the money to my frieend while asked for the money more than 5 times.
what to do now?please help.
she does not want to ruin he family life so cant even say any thing,, directly any more.is there any law that can help.

The legal remedy may be unpleasant. She should persuade her husband to seek return of the money from his father. Else, her father may write a reminder-letter to her father-in-law.
laws are there but better try to solve the matter amicably.
