Legal Question in Family Law in India

need your genuine advice. wife demands 35 lacs for MCD. she is adamant for 35 lacs lumpsum. yesterday i came to know some 'right to marital property act'. if it will be passed she will demand more, as she will then get much more legal power to grab my property/money etc.
can you pls give an approximate idea that within how many days this act will be present in parliament?? as my financial future also depends on this act.

She has no right in ur self acquired property she can claim only maintenance and residential right and for more clarification u can call m

Before i answer your questions ,i have few questions to ask you. 1) How did your wife came to an amount of Rs. 35 lacs ? What are you doing in your life for living ? What part of India you live in.? Do you want to divorce your wife or not ? How many people are there in wife's family ie. brother(s) ,sister(s) etc.? Please get with answers to my queries for an appropriate answers.

she may demand any amount of money but you need to see you capacity to pay the amount. at present, there is no such law where the property needs to be divided at the time of divorce. hire an aggressive lawyer and fight it out.
