Legal Question in Family Law in India

me and my girlfriend are in emotional relationship for the past 6 years. We had decided to marry and live happily with each other. But being an intercast marriage (me brahmin and she SC) it was not acceptable to anyone. Her parents fixed her marriage to some boy from their own cast. She decided against it and asked the boy directly to refuse the marriage as she was not ready to marry him. This created a havoc in her life. She was beaten and abused by her own grandfather and parents. Her grandfather asked my father to accept her as bride to which my father showed his inability due to the same social factors. The girl's grandfather now threatens that if the girl's marriage doesn't finalise with the same boy with whom he had fixed it earlier he would press charges against me in the local police station. What steps can I take in this regard to avoid any such circumstances? What can be done? Kindly present me with all available legal options for this problem.
