Can a GPA holder sign on divorce petition? and Maintenance petition?My huband is staying in USA he gave GPA to his father.Im in India.On behalf of my husband he is signing on all the petitions?In GPA he gave permissions to attend on all the proceedings,trail courts also.Is there any right to attend in this way? My father inlaw is a Addl.Dist.Judge.So please tell me the GPA holder rights.Divorce case means it is completly related to wife and husband then how GPA holder can do everything irrespective of the pettioner(My husband) involvement,appearence also.Please reply me in detailed all the right a GPA holder should have n Divorce and Maintenance cases and a criminal case.

No according to me no one can leave of signing no one can even appear in matrimonial dispute.

Therefore there also arises no question of any kind of right of a GPA in such type of cases.
