IN-LAWS LAWYER HAS ALLEGED THAT CASE SHUD BE PURSUE NEAR BY THIER HOUSE IN NORTH DELHI.BT WE HAVE FILED IN OUR EAST DELHI AREA.

CAN IT BE TRANSFEERED NEAR BY THIER HOUSE.

According to law,wife can file case in her area only where she resides with her parents..?

How much time will maintainence case take to solve in court..?

yes, in case the girl wants, she can get the case transferred to her jurisdiction. it depends whether the interim maintenance is to be decided first. it also depends under what law has she filed for maintenance.

No there are some norms to transfer the case. Mr.Rajiv is also right but case cannot be transfered in the same city. may be other court. But depends upon circumstances also.
