please guide me on this ......i'm been thrown out of my matrimonial house ... i filled dv case againgt my husband and in laws .my husband filed divorce case ....my husband had returned my articles in caw ..then in police recovery raid i went to their home and got many of my remaining articles even jewellery ....all this being done in the same matrimonial home ...which is in the name of my mother in law now in case if she sells it what 'll happen will dv case loose its importance ...

you can seek residence order in your matrimonial home in case your husband is staying there but you cannot seek any restraint order against your mother in law from disposing it off in case it is her self acquired property. in case its an ancestral property, restraint orders may be issued against mother in law and the husband being co sharers.

you don't have any right on your mother in law's property. however it will not affect your DV case even if your mil sells the property.
