Legal Question in Family Law in India

i am a guy of catholic faith & i love a gurl of muslim faith, we are planning to get married but we have decided we are not going to change our religion, we both understand there cud be problems with regards to raising children, community and other things, but we both can handle it, i want to know, if its possible for us to get married in the church, wud u know the church laws, we also want to do nikaah, so do u know abt muslim faith, how would these things work & can we both marry in the church & do nikaah as well along with court marriage, wat problems can we face in future, if any and wat are the procedures to get court married, pls guide me, thanks alot

It is possible for you two to get married in the church without changing your religion. However to have the nikah ceremony you will have to convert to Islam. The Muslim law does not allow a Muslim and a non-muslim to be married under its provisions. You cannot marry in the Church and do the nikah. However you can have a wedding as per the special marriage act and marry in the church.

you can marry in the church as christian marriage act,however it is better you as per the procedure of Special marriage Act,nika cannot be possible as both you are not willing to change the religion.
