Harrasment by husband and in-laws

My husband is living in abu dhabi and i am in india, his mother is trying to sell the house in which i am staying as it is in her name. she says go to a rented house and my husband is not willing to give me any financial aid what is my position legally? pls.answer my question as it is becoming very difficult to live here and i need to take a decision soon.

Consult a local lawyer and go for the proceedings as you are entitled to claim maintenance.

(a) You are entitled to residence and maintenance amount payable by your husband;

(b) since the house is in the name of his mother, possibly she may be entitled to sell; but you may seek an injunction against sale by filing an application under Domestic Violence Act.

I may be able to render more informed opinion only if you provide me full facts of your marriage - from ist day onwards; i.e. how the marriage was performed, where you entered after marriage and how have you been living, etc. etc.

you have every right to claim maintainance and residence from your husband and his family.consult a local lawyer.
