Legal Question in Family Law in India

As hearing of cases (125 and DV) is near as my husband is totaly a Mumma-boy. He doesnt want his mother to go to court .we met recentely . he want me to compromise wen i ask him he talk abt all the three situation (rented house, out of court or court) but he doesnot want me to take to his family. He is aware that he and his family has mishandled me but wen i met him he still blame me and creates ficticious stories 2, also he doubt on my character. I luv him but i dont knw tht he luv me or not . wen i ask him he says Yes he do .

Problem is that now i doubt his intention tht he might run away after i withdraw all the cases, this i knw tht he wan to save his mother . Also i knw tht he is mumma-boy. wud it be safe to live in rented house and wat condition shall i put so tht it wud not be easy for him to leave me again, also wud it be better to go from court or by mutual undrstnding? As wen we talk abt settlement he doesnt want to compensate even (do not want to return my full istreedhan).and if i go in rented house n in future again somethig happens then can i again pursue the same cases against his family ? why he want to aquire rented house?

Your apprehensions could be right. He may want to settle just to make his family out of this litigation. But you have to see whether you want to save the marriage or not. You will not be able to make a case against his family because in rented house you and husband would be staying how would you make allegations against the family. the sole purpose of rented house could be to restrict litigation between you and him. If you choose to go and live in the rented house, you may ask for a long term registered lease in which he would give post dated cheques in the name of landlord. YOu may take entire streedhan back. He would open a joint account and deposit monthly salary in that account
