Legal Question in Family Law in India

we had our first hearing in the court last week ,also my husband who was in abroad has come down to india to attend the same. we were sent to the councellor and he has declared that he is jobless now and was earning 85000/- per month. I had asked for maintanence but now he is refusing for the same saying she is earning. wat next is supposed to be done on the next hearing???
