Legal Question in Family Law in India

hello

i have filed DV against my husband and in laws. their lawyer is constantly defaming me and putting false allegations on me. she says that i m wrong and their client should actually file DV. she is very strong.

in my last hearing i noticed one thing . my in laws have bribed a police who is working in a court. now this police is not allowing me to sit with my father who come with me in court and harassing me in one way or other. he made me and my uncle stand twice(in last two hearings) and whenever my in laws come he made all the arrangement for their sitting.he didnt allow me to carry my purse and all important documents.............

my lawyer is very weak and she is not at all arguing in my favor.

in spite of the fact that i m right and suffered a lot i m not getting justice.

my questions are

1..do i have a right to speak in court and present my side at the time of argument and defend myself?(their lawyer scolded and insulted me when i denied her false and baseless allegations )

2. can i appoint two lawyers for my case.?and can both argue in my defense..

First, your case is pending before which court? If ur case is pending before family court you cannot appoint any lawyer as per Family Courts Act

We can only be an amicus curie of the court

You boldly fight with police and shout. Police will automatically ran from you.

OR complain to the same to the Judge through court workers via Dawali, upon the said bias police to take action

You have all the right to speak and argue in the court ,if you have not engaged a lawyer in your case. You can engage as many lawyers as you want but only one can argue and not all.

you may change the lawyer or appoint addition lawyer to fight for your case. you also have right to speak but u need to seek permission from the judge.
