Hello,

I have myself, my wife and my son, 6 years old in my family. I want to form a HUF. Please tell me what is the legal procedure to form a HUF.

There is no formal procedure prescribed for formation of HUF nor registration is required. You may make contribution of any property - movable and/or immovable to HUF, open a bank account and obtain PAN card from Income Tax department.
