Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hello,

My questions is related to my marriage. I got married in April 2009. I lived with my wife for less than a month. Since May 2009 my wife is living with her parents. In June i went to bangalore on a job transfer. In Januvary 2010 i came back to NCR and since then i am trying to call her back but she is not responding.

Her father says that My wife is not going to marry again. He says that his daughter will nither give me divorce nor she will live with me.

I want to get divorce now but now. I want to know what legal options i have.

u can file the divorce petition before the court of law for seeking divorced

you may file a petition for divorce on the grounds available to you viz. cruelty, desertion etc....and for that you need to consult a lawyer in person.

one option is to compel her to come back to matrimonial home by filing a petition for restitution of conjugal rights if you want to save marriage.

If you have decided to leave the girl then you should file a petition for Divorce on the grounds of cruelty , desertion etc. Engage a good matrimonial lawyer who would guide you properly.
