Legal Question in Family Law in India

My wife has sent me Notice u/s, 10(ix) of Divorce Act 1869 praying for a decree of divorcee,
Today I meet my lawyer, He told me that Written Statement, and say that allegations raised or leveled by my wife are false.
Then on the 2nd Date he said if her lawyer and my wife come for compromise .
1 first date : My lawyer will give written statement allegation raised against me and persons mentioned in petition are false.
2 Second date : If only if my wife and her lawyer take back the allegations. And Come for mutual compromise.
3. Third: Compromise only no compensation and etc.
4. Child custody if give me I will agree if she wants custody than no monthly expense for the above As I have already given before.
He said it takes 6 to 8 dates.
Note: My lawyer said first day itself I should not agree for her divorcee, If takes one day period to get divorcee, If I agree easily then my wife will ask for compensation and even for child expenses.
Secondly he told me that even My wife lawyer will not agree immediately for divorcee because it depends upon his fees balance clearance and mode of payment etc.
Please give me good suggestions. Whether I should continue with this or else some other way is there to shorten the course.
