hi,

i have a question, if 15thdecember 2010 is my marrage date,it would be 1 year by 15th december2011, if we apply for mutual divorce on 16th december 2011 then will the first motion starts from 16th december 2011 followed by 6 months or does the court take more time and then would give the duration for 1st motion (6 months ). my question is about the how much time will the court take to decide to announce the 1st motion period after the first 1yr of marrage if we apply the next day of one year marrage period.kindly provide me the information. Thankyou

You can file your mutual petition on december 15th 2011as it finishes 1 year on dec 14th ,2011. Your matter would be taken up on 16-12-11 and your 1st motion would get over on the same date and your 2nd motion would be on june 15th, 2011and would get decided on the same date.
